A little mystery surfaced after the recent flyover by T-38s from Beale Air Force Base in salute to our health care workers. The Enterprise-Record photographed four jets, but many of us saw five. Was it some random jet pilot adding support or something stranger? Beale sent a fifth jet to follow — but not join — the team as it flew from Chico to Paradise for photographs. Those who watched from south Chico or the Skyway saw the jet join, lag behind and then peel off as the team headed to Paradise. It was the closest we’ve had to an air show...
